We are Black Dog.  You can find us in Chilmark where we have been a village Pub at least since 1600! 

Our Stout, Ale and Lager are from St Austells. Our Cider from Thatchers.  We have a few spirits and some half decent house wines from the Black Mountains in France.  We don't make cocktails and we are not fancy...we have a darts team ffs!

In the coming months, we will feature some fabulous pop-up's…the Travelling Thai already feeds us & Rocky's Pizzas are now regulars on Wednesday and Gymkhana, our Nepalese / Indian popup runs on Sundays.  Stay tuned though as there is lots going on...fb/insta is where we will let you know what happening when.

We have two roaring fires that are always lit (except when the sun's out) Stuart and Darcie run things, and for the rest of this year we are open Tuesday until Sunday.
